rMBP Cause for return/exchange?

    I bought my rMBP in july. I has had all the little bugs, but is running fine on 10.8.2.
    However, i have just discovered a dead pixel. I have also discovered a slight taint of light towards the middle edge on both sides. The last latter issue doesn´t bother me too much, but the dead pixel is impossible to ignore now that I know where it is.

    Do I have cause for a return, or change the machine into a new one?
    Would the dead pixel have been there from the start, or could it have happened more recently?

    And tell them what? I didn´t buy any extra insurance. I´d rather bring it to my local store where I bought it.

    I have been extremely careful with the machine, and this is just a little disappointing.

    It doesn't matter. It has a year warranty. Say it has des pixels and IR which is causing headaches and you want to know If they can solve it.
