Hello guys, I'm wonder if the PCI-e in the rMBP can be transferred over to the nMP? If i'm not mistaken, I think they are both using the same PCI-e flash stick only difference is the nMP has a bracket to hold and the rMBP doesn't? I'm planning to get a 1TB SSD for the late rMBP somewhere in eBay and stick it into my nMP. Will that be alright? Any reply would be appreciated. thanks :D

    ............
I am by no way an expert.
However in the past every question of that possibility has been consistently denied in many posts and different threads.
I don't recall a single person who reported having succeeded to use a flash SSD card of a MBP as a replacement for the one delivered by Apple for their nMP.
If that would be possible many owners who took the stock size SSD card when buying the nMP, would have replaced it later by a larger one.
I assume therefore that you will receive from wiser users than myself a denial of the possibility of such an exchange.

They are the same, both featuring a PCI-e 4x connector.

Someone tested but can't find the link at the top of my head.
