rMBP Louder fans after update!

My macbook has always been very quiet except that one time i played ss3.
Now after the update im noticeably hearing the fans with just normal usage its also getting hotter than normal ,what should i do?

Try a SMC reset.

I second that. Try SMC and PRAM reset.

SMC reset wont hurt, likely as the SMC bug was temperature related/triggered Apple has likely changed the cooling algorithm and the fans are now kicking in sooner rather than later as part of the fix.

I am on my Air, now i will see what the Retina does later today.

Did a SMC reset ,no problems so far!
