rMBP makes metallic "ching" sound when waking from sleep

My rMBP sometimes makes a metallic "ching" sound when waking from sleep. I thought there were no moving parts other than the fan. Is this sound normal or should I get it checked out?

Maybe just a sound effect, mute speakers see what happens.

Just to eliminate the possibility of it being the sound associated with an application error of some kind, I suggest checking the Console Log for any error messages around the time you wake up the machine.

Are you running 1Password? That gives off a metallic "ching" sound when it locks or unlocks.
