I totally understand matte screens if you work outside. My 2007 Macbook is neigh unuseable outside. I just wondered for those who work indoors. 95% of the time I use my laptop indoors and away from glare, where the glossy screen looks fantastic.

Interesting. I'v seen a matte antiglare screen protector on a iPhone 4S and it killed the screen's appeal to me.
