Are you sure it's the same model with the same configuration? You could be looking at two different rMBPs. Use refurb.me to be notified when the model you want becomes available.I just noticed that on the Apple Refurb site, they have dropped the price of a refurbished 15 inch rMPB to $1599 from what I thought was $1679
It's the same model (June 2012) as I've been keeping a close eye on it for a while as well. I wonder if it will go down further after the WWDC.
I understand that it may be the same model. What about the configuration? One could have a larger drive or more RAM than another. It's the same model (June 2012) as I've been keeping a close eye on it for a while as well. I wonder if it will go down further after the WWDC.
The 2.7 2013 model always did but the 2.7 or 2.6 2012 model did not.Oh wow 2013 models have popped up on the Australian refurb store. The mid 2012 refurb prices were dropped by about 10% here a couple of weeks ago too.
Here are the prices vs retail in Australian dollars.
2.4/8GB/256GB $2119 vs $2499
2.7/16GB/512GB $2719 vs $3199
(did the 2.7 model always come with 16GB as default?)
