About twice a day my Retnia Macbook Pro crashes and restarts itself. I havent seen any pattern to the restarts, they are very sudden.

Here is the error log I got the last time it restarted.

If anyone can understand the log and see a obvious cause i would be very grateful.

    Thank you in advance

It looks like a crash in the graphics driver.

This could just be buggy, or it could be a faulty graphics chip. Hard to say, but the regularity of it, and the fact that everyone isn't complaining about similar, and similar experience from windows, leads me to suggest you may have a faulty graphics chip and should have it checked out.

Does it only happen on dynamic switching/NVIDIA/integrated/all/etc.? This can be monitored with Cody Kreiger's gfxcardstatus utility.

Additionally, please, oh please, report your findings to Apple.

Does the error ever appear if you force integrated graphics and continue using it as you were when you noticed the problem?

Okay it happened again whilst I was on dynamic switching. Didnt happen the day before when I was on integrated. Ive noticed it seems to occur when I do something in Safari e.g. Open a new tab.

Heres the log for the last restart.

If it didn't happen on integrated, then switch the GPU to discrete and then see if it occurs.

I'd also make a trip into apple and see if they can do a quick swap, or call them because it does appear to be a bad GPU.
