rmvb file

Hey guys, do any of you know how to convert an rmvb file to something playable on quicktime or VLC? Or even some codec that could work on either? I really don't want to download realplayer.

Any help would be great, thanks.

FFmpegX with real codec-plugin can convert real video to other formats, but... i do think download realplayer is a much easier solution.
