Does anyone think it strange that Apple has left its Roadmap front and center on its home page for this long? That keynote, while excellent, is geared primarily at developers and IT managers, a relatively small number of people compared to the number of consumers who visit the site every day.

I wonder if Apple had a product launch planned, but it got delayed. New iMac?

I was just thinking that yesterday. I looked at the Apple website and said to myself, "That's still up?"

They always leave there latest stuff up tho, so could just be waiting!

Or possibly forgot ;)

Ha! That home page is a prime piece of Internet real estate -- the equivalent of a Times Square or Sunset Boulevard billboard. I'm sure Apple plans its use very carefully. And often Apple will rotate different promotions. Someone there really wants to promote that Roadmap -- or something got delayed and Apple had nothing better to place there.
