Roaming in Canada - T-Mobile Unlocked?

Is there any plan or way to use data (checking email, some web surfing) while in Canada that will "NOT" be charged T-Mobile's exorbitant $15 per megabyte of usage?

Else I can turn-off data roaming and just use voice/SMS but then no email... 🙁
