Whats wrong with it? Why do so many people refuse to have it on their phone? I dont get it, its kind of like Cydia right?

I don't think there is anything actually wrong with it. I just like to be consistant and have all my apps coming from the same place and I like Cydia more than Rock. I'm interested if others actuallyhad a bad experience with Rock as well.

The Active libraries that RockApp and Cydia use sometime don't play nice to each other and start causing issues.

I've read Rock have improved a lot lately, I personally stay away because it had caused issues on my phone on the pass.

In a perfect world, there would be a jailbreak store that has the stability of cydia and the user interface of rock...But for some reason, this does not exist. Rock's user interface is so much faster and more organized that cydia, it boggles my mind. But when I tried uninstalling smoothboard in rock, it caused my five column springboard to crash, and i have been unable to use it ever since...I've tried a thousand times to reinstall/uninstall/reinstall again and i cannot get my five column springboard back...THANKS ALOT ROCK!

1+ rocks idea and design is good but it caused way to many problems in the past. what you described is typical Rock. plus I had that issue with Rock filling up my 32 GB I had a 20GB plus file that was there because of Rock. they fixed that bug but they seem to always have a few bugs left. I do like rocks design but I don't use it. if it's not in Cydia I don't use it.

I downloaded my3g from cydia & rock was downloaded too... Do I have to keep rock to use my3g or can I delete it from cydia packages?

***** rock app.
Cydia is solid. My jb'd always went to **** in the past with rock app. My ip4 is rock free and flawless. Just cydia and jb essentials.

Currently the version of My3G and MyWi need Rock installed for licenses verification, Developer of MyWi is already working on a RockFree version (No word if My3G is doing the same)

I'm wondering if Rock is causing the lag I'm experiencing when trying to open up my contacts app. Can't uninstall it though since mywi depends on it.

See my "Is Cydia down?" thread. I started having issues this afternoon and I think the culprit is Rock. I had an update having to do with LockInfo show up in Rock, but I figured I'd use Cydia to download it...when I closed Rock and opened Cydia, it gave me the error shown in the other thread and now Cydia isn't working at all.

I tried to remove Rock and it gave me a message that it couldn't be removed. Like the poster above, the only reason I got Rock was because I got My3G from there. I just tried to remove My3G and it gave me the same error, that it couldn't be uninstalled, but the app icon is missing now.

I guess I'm gonna have to do a damn restore. Crap!

i tried everything and when i repspring it freezes and takes like 10 mins to turn on again

3rd phone and no Rock issues.....don't understand it myself and I'm not jumping on the bandwagon just because a few have had issues!

If Cydia was half as usable or good looking, I doubt Rock would even exist!
