Hi!

I have an issue with the RAID 5 in my PowerMac G5.
It consists of 4 320 GB drives, bound together in the RAID 5.
After the Leopard install I can still read the RAID fine, but OSX is telling me, that the drive contains "non-writable media" - CHMOD reveals that I have all rights to the drive - OSX just doesn´t like it anymore.

HPT hast postet ne drivers for some of their other cards and I wonder if any of you guys have any clue how to get this RAID running again (besides from OSX-downgrades).
I contacted HPT but the didn´t get back to me yet (anyone knows anything about the quality of their support?). The boasted leopard-drivers are for sme of their newer cards only, the 1810A is still at this state: "Mac Driver v1.04 - Supports OS X 10.4.10"

cheers

I know this is old but i was wondering if you had any luck. I have the 1820 and RocketRaid's response is to buy a 2220 series RAID card. Seems like a cop out and makes my RAID card useless
