I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max along with a Rode VideoMic NTG.

The audio is clipping when plugged in usb c, the gain knob does not function when plugged in with usb c.

The microphone worked fine on my iPhone 14 Pro over Lightning cable. I have retested this microphone on my 14 Pro, windows PC and Mac and it’s working fine.

The only way I can get the mic to work is by using the BlackMagic Camera app and going into audio settings and setting the gain to 0%. Though the audio still sounds a bit distorted. I haven’t found any other apps that can control the gain. Anyone else having this issue?

Do you have AirPods in by chance? My rose pro works fine with 15PM. The one time so had my headphones in while doing a video with rode pro it cut out. Took headphones off and in case and fixed

Yea I have Airpods, however I’m not using the AirPods when I use the VideoMic NTG.
Ok just wondering. I had mine in and the audio was cutting out when rode pro was in the usb-c. I know you said clipping so just asking.
