roll back to 7.1.2 from iOS 8?

    my iTunes says not compatible.
    have they stopped signing this release already? or do i need to do it DFU mode?

    also, i know the ipsw builds are for specific models, but i have the verizon 5S and all the builds say CMDA global, is that the correct one?

    It appears to still be signed. Use the 6,1 ipsw.

    its frustrating because its telling me its not compatible.
    does the phone need to be in DFU?

    Yes DFU mode you will have to point iTunes to the ios 7 firmware

    What version of iTunes and on what platform (Mac or Windows) are you running?

    i figured it out, the IPSW file for CDMA was not for Verizon iPhone 5S, I had to ue the GSM build, which caused confusion because I forgot it has both radios in the phone.
