Here's the deal. For some reason they got stuck, or whatever. Customs? Forgotten? Who knows. But for me its not a big deal.
We have to remember....we were originally 10/4-10/10 dates. Even if it's Friday, we are over a week ahead. There are some here I've been following that haven't budged. Those I feel bad about.
Ordered at 6:30am eastern at apple for a 256gb iPhone 7plus got the 10/4/-10/10 date. Still no charge nothing to date. They tried to charge my card on the 9th that night but I had the wrong card up and I had to switch cards. How is it fair that people that ordered preorder day get nothing yet those who ordered days later are getting their phones early?
Out if curiosity, as I've seen it mentioned multiple times without explanation, but how do you check this "supportprofiles" thing?

LOGIN with your Apple info and if you're shipped, your phone shouldn't show. Mine took a few hours after getting shipping notification. Your serial number will be posted there.
OMG - I was away for the weekend, came home to see my phone (128gb Silver Plus) is in Taiwan and arriving to Chicago burbs here tomorrow! Holy crap I didn't expect this! So happy!
same boat as everyone else... 7+ 128gb matte black, yesterday UPS tracking showed delivery by EOD tomorrow 9/21. Now it's updated showing delivery EOD Thursday 9/22.
Frustrating but also aware it is 2-3 weeks earlier than the original projected window. Given I was thinking about cancelling the order, I have no standing to complain about the shipment arriving one day later than projected.

Exactly. And even though I would have loved to receive mine tomorrow instead of the new date of Thursday, it is kinda exceptional that two weeks ago yesterday I watched the Apple live broadcast announcing the new iPhone and this week I'll have it. Really amazing when you consider that my phone probably wasn't even made yet when it was announced at the live broadcast!!!
And THIS is who I feel bad about. There are a few like this that show no signs.
Anyone upset that their phones got delayed by a day or two WHILE still ahead of the October dates, keep this in mind.

Flight UPS99 is in the air. UPS still shows my phone as being in Korea but still delivering on 9/21 so I am going to assume it is on the flight and that the tracking system is behind.

In thinking about this each flight has about 300,000 phones on them so they are not scanning each box that would not be possible. So that means that each pallet has a master label associated with all of the labels that are contained on the pallet. So I can see a situation where UPS's databases take several hours for scans to update if they are processing each record based on being linked to a master pallet record. Which could explain the delays in updates.
