Same situation. UPS moved delivery from Wednesday to Thursday. Delayed due to Customs in China.
I'm in the same exact boat and same configuration. I check my progress at least once a day to no change. It's disappointing but if it goes into October I'll have money to spend for Force Friday next Friday to pick up some of the new Funko Pops.
Still stuck in processing hell. I have this bad feeling my phone is going to stick to its original delivery dates.
I'm thinking that those of us who paid in full are still in processing. What do you guys think?
All my other preorders were through monthly payment, but I purchased mine outright. Hmmm.....
That wouldn't be so bad if I didn't see at least one post per day of people using the reserve system to buy either a 128 or 256GB matte black. I've been checking everyday at 12:01-12:30 and at 8AM with no success at all. None in upstate NY that I can find.
I didn't pay in full, I enrolled in IUP. It's just frustrating cause people who ordered after me (I ordered on 10/10) have had their phones shipped.
I paid in full and mine has shipped. I really do think it just comes down to what time you ordered and the demand of the specific model.
I'm in the same boat - paid in full, through Apple.
I don't know if it's because I ordered through Apple, or because I paid in full, or because it's a Black 7+ 256, or is it that my carrier is AT&T. I guess I rolled snake eyes. I should have gone with pink - could have had it launch day. Living in regret LOL
My experience has been the exact same thing. Constantly checking, not seeing any in my nearby store to reserve, then coming on here or Reddit and seeing people exclaiming how they grabbed the exact model they wanted that morning. I'm happy for them (and a bit jealous), but it really makes it suck for us.
I refuse to believe the 30min delay makes our package be delivered a day later. It may have just hit an automated threshold in the UPS system for delivery estimations.
Not doubting that's a reason for the delay but do you have a source for them saying our shipments have been delayed due to leaving China customs? I have no new info on my shipping pages. Thanks.
Mine was September 21st.. and since I scheduled it to have held at UPS hub. It no longer shows me.. apple states Friday September 23rd.
Not likely. It is now 11:47am CST and I have nothing. Was on the phone with Apple over a hour to be told that my dates are accurate and that nothing will be sent out to me sooner than my dates. I don't understand this at all and I'm very upset abt it. Why move me into PFS to have me waiting over 4days?? Like. I'm honestly over this.
Both my wife and I received shipment confirmation yesterday. Both phones scheduled to be delivered 9/21. Both phones arrived in Incheon, South Korea at the same time. This morning my wife's phone was pushed back to 9/22, however, mine left on UPS99 this morning and is still showing 9/21. I'm wondering if a scan was missed and the system has automatically pushed back delivery dates due to that. When the flights land in Anchorage this afternoon we'll find out.
Another commenter was told this by UPS and posted about it a couple pages back.
My delivery date on UPS was 9/21, then this morning I checked on UPS and it was rescheduled for 9/22. My Apple delivery date was 9/23. Still hoping it comes tomorrow!
