Those of us in the 8:01 group. Common sense would tell me that we are not in Korea anymore. I just don't see why our phones wouldn't budge for 2 days. There has to be some other explanation. I am hoping they are indeed stateside and just no scans. *Praying I get it tomorrow as I was quoted!

I am going to hope they have indeed moved and the scans are just way behind....suddenly we will see they are here! #icanhope
I said it earlier. Apple is playing something here. I could very well be wrong but all of a sudden, these mysterious mechanical failures and customs issues come up in more than one location?

These things are stateside. That is song up everything I've read and going on my gut based on my past experience. UPS scans are ON POINT. My wife orders from Amazon and other places and those scans ALWAYS are in on point. To think ups suddenly is messing scans up? Come on

UPS needs to accept ownership that this "inconvenience" is their fault. They should be providing updates regularly and heck, even deliver on Saturday. I'll be PO'd if my original delivery from Apple and UPS both said 9/23, but UPS delays it to to 9/26 because they won't deliver on weekends.

My phone was delivered today. I bet a lot of you guys will see movement tonight and deliveries tomorrow.
What was your UPS tracking? Would you be willing to show us? We need hope ;p;

Look at my screen shot. It has both scheduled and actual for both take off and landing. It's definitely in the air.
Right in the middle of your screenshot it says "Scheduled"

What does it say on other flights there? I can't go on the site to see if it says something different or not.

So you're saying they HAVE moved and it's Apple who's up to something? In the past with any package, UPS scans everything. This is the first I've seen such long delays and seemingly not moving AT ALL!

I just wanted to make sure. It looks like those of use that have the 11:30 Arrival Scan in ZZ haven't gotten any of those updates saying a mechanical failure or weather issues. Every apple rep I've talked to has been pretty sure I'd be getting it tomorrow, which seems suspicious if it's really still in Korea. I just wish we knew what was happening!

I think the ones getting the mechanical notices have completely different scan times and are or were still in Korea and the plane had mechanical issues. I believe that our phones are already stateside waiting for UPS to either batch update the statuses of many of us at some point tonight and they will be delivered tomorrow. If not and I'm wrong the Manager of the Online Apple Store who is working with me on my issues regarding UPS and where my phone is will have to send me an iPad Pro and a new Apple Watch to keep me from cancelling and never buying from them again.

Latest excuse from UPS: Apple shipped out a lot of packages so we had to leave a lot of them behind in South Korea. We are trying to get them out of there as quickly as we can. I know that there was a mechanical failure earlier that prevent a lot of packages from going out, but I do t see that listed on yours... we are trying to get them out as quickly as we can but we are having a hard time getting information from ups in South Korea.... pfff

I'm perfectly capable of knowing this is a stupid thing to be angry about and still be angry about it.

Sometimes I mix it up and get mad at myself for getting upset about something so stupid.
My sentiments exactly. The struggle is real :)

Can you show us your tracking?

Also, someone should ask UPS if they can confirm whether or not UPS 99 took off! Then we would know, lol.

Next flight is tomorrow morning (tonight Korea time)

UPS 6099

I'm trying not to get my hopes up for missed scans. The vast majority of tracking I've seen for iPhone 7's have been scanned at every leg of the journey.
Not true... there was a batch that went from China straight to Louisville and out for delivery!! Nothing in between China and Kentucky!! Hell of a gas tank on that sucker!

Oh crap, I was so fixated on the "actual" time listed. Seems to be it should say departed :(

Just spoke with Apple and ups. Apple said that they think that it will be delivered today or tomorrow. I think tomorrow is more possible. Ups was no help. Even the special Apple agent was no help. Hoping that there will be some movement either late tonight or tomorrow morning.

So I decided to check online and found that an Apple store an hour from me has a 7+ 128GB black in stock. My pre-order is still at "preparing for shipment". Wonder if it's possible to cancel it and go with the in store pickup. I wouldn't think I could order two phones via AUP at the same time without one being cancelled first.

I wouldn't do it. I was told that even if you can get Apple to cancel a PFS order (on the phone only), they don't release your eligibility for AT&T Next or whatever carrier/payment plan you are tied to. You can do it if you want to pay in full though.

I was reading the Sept 27-29 delivery thread and two people had the same scan that said "Pkg shipped; delivery being scheduled" and this is what they said:

"I got this same cryptic message on 9/20/16 3:44 PM. For me it was 2 days after the arrival scan. The next item on my Shipment Progress was the Import Scan @ Louisville, KY on 9/21/16 3:21 AM. I had my phone by lunch time on 9/21. The only reason I've come up with is UPS had stuck my pallet of phones on a 3rd party carrier so they skipped all the intermediary scans. There were several just like mine earlier on this thread.

Hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised when you wake up tomorrow as well."

and another guy said:

"I bet you'll get it tomorrow. My tracking said that on Tuesday, and I got it the next day."

idk if this means anything. Just thought it was interesting because no one seems to know what our scan means.
