So Apple manager calls me back at end of day like she promised. She says that everything looks good, but she's not sure why she hasn't seen any scans during the day (we spoke at 8am). I said you haven't seen a scan because plane hasn't landed yet. Lands in 15 minutes I said (at the time). Clueless.
So I said it looks like the phones will make it to Anchorage on time or early and then on to Louisville by 1:00am. I said the only thing I want from Apple at this point is to make sure that we get the phones on Saturday instead of Monday. I said if I see that it's in my area but not delivered because Apple didn't want to do the right thing and upgrade for Sat delivery for the inconvenience I will be more than irate. She said it's 50/50 as to whether we will see Saturday deliveries and she was told not to promise anyone. Hope it's Apple being Apple and wanting to seem like they are going above and beyond and underpromising.
I also hope that UPS doesn't screw this up and has enough drivers and trucks to accommodate the Saturday deliveries. Feel close but so far away.
Wow. You take the word "estimated" very seriously. Almost as if it's a guarantee.
