Well then we aren't getting our phones until Monday IMO. The only UPS flight is UPS1112 which leaves Louisville at 4:44am and lands at JFK at 6:32. Can't see it getting out to us tomorrow.

I forgot to mention that the UPS online chat person said my new estimated delivery date is now 9/29/16. Uh, it shipped on the 19th and just left Alaska... how is that possible to even come up with that estimate?! Probably because they're taking it back to China!

Mmm idk. May be a late scan or something. It's only like 13mins difference from him. It's two flights in the air right now heading to the same place that left a couple minutes of each other so all that matters is we're in the air heading for Louisville lol

I know I know lol it's been a long day so I needed a little entertainment hahahaha
I got tired of being stuck at 'processing' for so long. I broke down and reserved a phone last night. I got a 32gb MB 7+ with a saddle brown leather case. I'm now using Google Photos to store my photos instead of iCloud. I have quite a few apps, yet I still have a healthy 13gb of free space. This phone will do quite nicely for the next 1-2 years.

Just finished chat with Apple, take this for what its worth. I had a delivery date of today from them. Originally it was the 21st from UPS. So once the delays started happening the 23rd definitely seemed more realistic. Since UPS is off in never-never land this week though that didn't happen. I'm sure Apple pays them a crap ton of money though so I would think they have some pull when it comes to dates that are missed by this much. Some may say well its not that much but in reality UPS originally gave the 21st so its now 2 days past due for them. Apple as we know puts a cushion in everything.
So I basically wanted to know if they were pushing for Saturday deliveries, this was the main response-
Not to worry! I know the carrier may not have come by yet, but if there has been any delay in receiving it today, based on the tracking we're set to have that delivered tomorrow without a shadow of doubt. I deeply apologize for the missed expectation in receiving that, but the priority is definitely to get that in your hands as soon as we're able. If necessary, we can get a pre-sign for the delivery tomorrow so that there's no further headache!
Now I love the term "without a shadow of a doubt". Yesterday the rep assured me that it would be here today, so take that with a few grains of salt

When can I officially contact Apple to complain about my phone that didn't arrive today as quoted??! I am on the west coast. Someone said 8pm I think?

I don't even care about waiting til monday at this point, i just want to make sure its still on the move and isn't held up anywhere else again
