Rome Total War: Will It Ever Come Out?

This is awesome, I have a hankering for a good Rome War game. I've been listening to Hard Core History Podcast about the Punic Wars and just wanna go Hannibal on someone! :D

glad the rtw have finally come out, but my preorder is still processing. does anyone here who prordered Mouths ago changed to shipped. or just my order is still processing?
 
I pre-ordered about 5 months ago and my order is still processing. Should i be worried or is that normal?

Can't wait to get my copy and thanks to Feral for porting Rome :)
 
I ordered mine months and months ago also (and been a very patient boy), well the postmans been today and no game...which is a shame since it would of been nice to have had the weekend to play it. Maybe I've been too use to gettting things that I've pre-ordered on the release date.

too be honest I wrote this off ages ago in terms of seeing it, I'm less convinced now than I was a few weeks ago.

Friday on apple.com it had rtw gold on a list called "Games Now Available" but not all apple stores will immedietly have the game plus you can't say no apples stores has it at least one apple store somewhere should have it

You still can't buy it on apple.com though so it is not "available"
I called the flagship store just to see if they had it, and they didn't. They said that when you will be able to buy it online, you will be able to buy it at that store.

You will be convinced, after all we now have had a ship date and pictures of the game packaging and game disk have been on our Twitter feed. I know it's hard to believe :) but Rome for Mac has been released.

Also still processing.

As of this morning. I am also still in the processing mode. How many copies have been shipped with this first order? Just curious cause I am #6503.

We sent out an email before release asking if people want a Intel only DVD or wait for the UA disk which will come in a few weeks. If you don't reply to this email your pre-order will not ship till the UA version is ready (so PPC users don't get an Intel only disk).

Also we have had a few orders where the credit cards have failed as they have changed since the pre-order was made. We are reprocessing these manually and contacting anyone who's card is still refused for some reason.

I can't reply to every pre-order question specifically in this thread but if you have not replied to the email about what version you would like that is most likely the issue for your delay. I have seen hundreds of orders ship over the last few days but we still have some more waiting on customer replies.

EXTRA INFO: The Intel DVD can be patched to run the UA version of the game (when it is released) however this will have to be done manually by downloading an updated application from our website (instead of our automatic sparkle system). The Universal DVD will come with the Universal binary pre-installed saving the need to go to the Feral site and download the initial patch.

my order is also still processing, and i have replied the email 5 days ago, my computer processor is intel. Still waiting...

Just went to an apple store and they didn't have rome and they said they don't usually get a newly released game for like a month unless it's a big release:( STEVE JOBS DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!!

Yes, please, I really want to buy this game from a store so if I have a problem I can return it.
 
other problems

Steve Jobs has other problems on his mind. His health for one, but more importantly is which carrier is best for the Iphone. Everyone has their favorites but we can all agree that any plan out there is BS and sooner or later the mob wont stand for it. And we all know that to control Rome you must please the mob.
