Room planning applications?

Do you have any recommandations for rooming planning software? I was tempted to give SketchUp a bash, but if there are any other apps that you'd recommend, I'm all ears!

I just found this open source 3D house planning software.
Sweet Home 3D

I use Live Interior 3D by Belight Software (available in the Mac App Store or online) & Google Sketchup. Live Interior lets you import Google objects so you're not limited to the included (& very European) selections.
