The only time I saw a rose gold rMB was in an Apple Store and to me it looked more pink than gold - pink to the extent of chewing-gum pink or lollipop-pink - extremely pink. But I guess that has to do with the lighting in the store.
Interesting the debates here, though, as we don't see colours the same way anyway. Experiencing a colour and putting a name on it is very, very subjective. :)

I've seen them in Apple stores and in a few other places in the wild, and, well. Its pink. I like the rose gold, don't get me wrong, but lets just cut to the chase, its pink.

Fair enough, but I'd suggest getting a little more mobile with your 2lbs wundernotebook.

I get it tomorrow but I don't anticipate it taking it out of my apartment much. When I got my 2011 MBA I imagined I'd be carting it around everywhere with me. In reality it left my place a few times per year.

It's a very light pink. You'll never get a real rose gold color on a dull metal like aluminum. What makes actual rose gold not look pink is the shine.

Congrats and I hope you enjoy it. It really is nice to move around with, but I'm sure you'll like it even if you don't.
