Rotating Ken Burns effect with stills + video? Program like Fotomagico?

I made my first "movie" using Fotomagico. I also own iMovie HD and iMovie '08. I love the absolute simplicity of Fotomagico, but for my next project I'd like to combine stills with old video. My dilemma is that I love the Fotomagico ability to take a still that is taller than it is wide and rotate it while zooming. In iMovie if I want to maintain the integrity of the tall photos I lose the ability to zoom because the Ken Burns effect forces a crop that won't extend past the original picture edge (I hope that makes sense to someone 🙄)

Anyways, is there a program with the simplicity and power of Fotomagico that allows for video as well?

Obviously I can move up to FCE or FCP, but I thought I'd check with the pro's first 🙂
