In FCP 10.4.9 I have a clip which is rotated – 2160 x 3840. I can flip it horizontally using transform, but the flip doesn’t change the size of the clip so the edges are truncated. How do I change the clip size to 3840 x 2160?

I posted to CreativeCow but got no responses. Are there other good FCP forums that I can use as I work through Larry Jordan's training videos?

Open it in quicktime and rotate it left or right. Then save it and import the new clip in FinalCut.

There is a rotate option in Final Cut inspector.

That's what I used. Turns out the problem was the project. This was the first video I placed in it and so the project dimensions were reversed. Opened the project inspector, changed the dimensions there, then the rotate option worked without clipping.
