Hasn't it MR yet, sure it will soon.

I personally wouldn't like a round watch. I use digital faces and mostly text screens. I think it would be easier with standard rectangle. Plus, I think the watch would have to be larger to accommodate the same size text currently on my watch. IMHO

I generally think Patents don’t always mean much of anything sometimes, because they are not always a reality what may or may not exist in the future. That said, the only thing I can say about a round Apple Watch, (As I would appreciate to have diversity)in terms of actually displaying information, a square interface is a main reason why Apple chose and its contemporary.

Jony Ive has also commented in the past that a round design Apple Watch did not make sense to him, and that was approximate during the timeframe when he was interviewed with the launch of the Apple Watch, so I’m not convinced that anything will change when adding a round design under his leadership.

I don’t see why they couldn’t offer a round option but I doubt if they ever will. :(

Agreed. I certainly wouldn't want the square version to go away as that is the preference of many people. but I think a round version would put a spark in the product and convince a few non-users to buy one.
