Router Selection

Just purchased my first Mac product this past week (MacBook Pro) and am getting cable internet next friday. Looking for a easy to setup router for a newbie to use. My home is one level about 1100 square feet so range won't be too much of an issue. Thanks for any help, much appreciated.

Get a cheap ($50) router like the Netgear N300. It's essentially plug and play.
