Phone 11 Pro (I have two of these, Wife’s and mine. Hers doesn’t have this problem)
IOS 13.4
Sagemcom F@st 5260 with Charter

My iPhone:
WiFi on 5G or 2G network sometimes Freezes after not using it for a few hours (requires a reboot) to connect to the router.
My iPad Air 3 and Wife’s iPhone 11 Pro is on the same network and doesn’t have this problem. I have deleted (forget this network) on the 2G and 5G and reestablished it with the same results. When my iPhone is connected the Speed tests are GREAT and no problems with apps.

When looking at the router (Sagemcom F@st 5260) the iphone shows a Signal strength of -32 Dbm and a Signal rate of 0. the iPad shows a Signal strength of -36 Dbm and a Signal rate of 243. Other devices on this network have signal rates from +100 to 300+. All settings are the same for the WiFi devices and on the router (except for the ip address of course)

Try resetting network settings. Has fixed all network issues I’ve ever had with the iPhone.

Well that only now made the 5G fail to connect. Reset the network settings multiple times with the same results. The 2G WiFi works each time I reset the network.

Got it fixed. Had to reset the router to Factory defaults and reset all my network settings on my devices. What a pain. Don't know what caused the problems I don't mess with the router settings.

Thanks all.

I’m glad it worked out for you but may I ask when the network froze on the iPhone, was it showing that it is connected to the router but nothing loaded and it didn’t switch to 4G, just stuck on WiFi without actually being connected?

Thanks in advance.
