rsync basics

I'm looking to use rsync to backup external hard drive A to external hard drive B. A is formatted NTFS, and B is HFS+.

I'm familiar with scp, but never used rsync.

What command do I need to run, given it is a local transfer rather than network based?

Never mind, it's mind blowingly simple:

rsync -au /Volumes/driveA /Volumes/driveB
