I’ll bet it’s just another name slapped onto the same China mass-produced cases. They cost pennies to make and get sold at a huge markup (exactly what Peel and Totalee does). You could very likely find the same product on AliExpress for a dollar or two. 😅

^Yup, there's the line on their page that says:

Absolutely no branding. Ever.

That's a giveaway right there. Theses are mass produced and sold to whomever wants to re-brand them. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I'm sure you can fine the same product cheaper.

I noticed that too! Immediate red flag. Glad I'm not alone on this.

Drives me nuts seeing people get swindled left and right. Buying the absolute lowest-cost, lowest-effort product for a premium all because of extravagant marketing and calling it "minimalist." All while some guy's bank account skyrockets from making a 500x profit on each unit sold.

You're right, and again I get it, when you're in business you're in it to make money, but taking advantage of people I've never liked. These ads on Facebook and Instagram really irk me. Smart of @rocknrolldoggy to question this, especially when there aren't any credible reviews, and you see that comments have been removed from their postings. Shady if you ask me.

I don't know about Rullus or whatever. But to play devil's advocate here, I don't think all unbranded cases from small sellers like these that some listed above are necessarily a giant rip off.

Unlike the $1 unknown cases on Aliexpress, these companies invest in marketing a brand and building a decent site, import the product into the US or Europe and warehouse it so it ships much faster than from China, usually offer some quality control over the quality and color, better packaging, and usually offer some kind of warranty or money-back guarantee. All these things are expenses, and it's reasonable that with all those things a $1 case can actually have a COGS of $5-$10 per unit.

So a $15 MSRP isn't that unreasonable, and it doesn't mean the owner is Scrooge McDuck swimming in a vault of money. They're making a living, but they're earning it with what they're doing.

That's totally a dropship website, I've seen that exact same cases thousands of times on Aliexpress. $15?! It costs a maximum of $1-2 on AE.

I was curious after seeing this thread so I ordered one. It’s fine. Nothing special. Some seams along the side that aren’t on nicer cases. Definitely not the worst $15 I’ve ever spent on my iPhone but not the best, either.

BE CAREFUL!

They are scam and selling $1 cheap case for $14.
I ordered a case and glass and supposed to received it within 3 days after 3 days as I didn't receive any update, I follow up with them and they replied the case is not available and maybe they can send in 1 month!
Be careful and don't deceived by their pretty website and advertisements.

These Rullus cases are definitely drop-shipped. 841CAC7F-89CB-4843-90D2-87240B7F12D9.jpeg
