not sure I understand the need for multiple pages, unless they are going to put 'settings' in there where it probably belongs. at the least, please let us have the option of putting it there instead of on the homescreen.

Multiple pages seems like a dumb idea, scrolling would be easier imho
I would prefer multiple pages, vertically or horizontally. Scrolling has no “anchors” so muscle memory works better when items stay in place.

I mean like springboard pages and App Library scrolling, where in springboard you blindly could open an app (as long as you remenber it’s place) but in App Library you would need to look to know when to stop scrolling

ok, so they could make it an option, scroll or pages ...

"pages" are stupid. just give me infinite scrolling. also Home Screen should just get rid of pages. useless. you don't know what is on page 6, guaranteed. at least with infinite scrolling, I know an app's approximate location and can get to it faster than pages. and it's much faster skimming through infinite scrolling than scanning each page where your eye lands on the bottom right, only for you to do a full swipe then your eyes have to go back to the top left.

infinite scrolling is better. just facts.

Isn’t that kind of what the App Library is all about?

I would prefer pages that act as categories. E.g.: A scrollable page full of games titled “Games” and where every game you download ends up. With the possibility to customize. Clean and simple. Done.

No App Library, no sub folders.

App Library is even more useless.

Is dropbox under utility or productivity? I'd consider a cloud storage app as a utility, but apparently Dropbox falls under a productivity app. Meanwhile pCloud, another cloud storage app, falls under Utility, not Productivity. Who is going to understand this?

Also in Utilities, I have "FastestVPN" and "NordVPN" but in Productivity, I have "Windscribe VPN" and "VPN Unlimited".

Utilities: Authy
Productivity: Microsoft Authenticator

This is insane. Why did Apple do this, I have no idea.

there is no *memory* for that thing on page 6.

and when you add one app to page 1, page 2, 3, 4, 5 gets shifted by 1 which means 5 apps you got used to on Page X got shifted to Page X + 1

I just have one page of apps, if I need something else I will just use spotlight or App Library. And for the control centre, surely most of the people would have just one page or two

Disagree with this I’m afraid. The advantage of pages are your icons fall in the same place every time, whereas with scrolling they’re always in a different area on the screen.

if it was just two pages, scrolling makes more sense. I can get to most of the controls faster than you can swipe to page 2.

wildly untrue. when you move an app to a page that's already full, all apps get shifted by 1. what app you thought was on page 2 is now on page 3. even worse when you have a widget taking up 2 rows, creating blank spaces at times.

meanwhile an app you thought 30% of the way down is now at 32% way down. if you need visual bookmarks, add a widget so you know a travel app is next to the google maps widget.

infinitely better than pages.
