This probably does not mean anything but when I click 'check for update' in iTunes I get an error message stating the iPhone update server could not be contacted.

Hmm, I can view the iTunes store just fine...maybe the server is down for the update?

It was down last night as well.

I just checked. It tells me that my current version of 4.1 is the most current version. Not holding my breath on this update anyways.

EDIT: NOW it's telling me that the server couldn't be contacted

No server connection issue here.

You guys are most likely getting the connection error, as thousands of people are all refreshing over and over hoping to see 4.2 pop up.
