Do you really check it multiple times a day?

No, and I already have iOS 4.2 on my iPhone 4, so I'm not to worried about when it gets released.

I saw 9to5mac's tweet this morning "Why does it feel like an iOS 4.2 day? 1pm ET?"

Since my iPod touch has not been update to 4.2, I checked for an update this morning out of curiosity, and around 10am I docked my iPod touch again to see if this rumor was true and if I would get a notification of an update available.

as it turns out, iOS 4.2.1 GM was released this morning to developers.

iOS 4.2 will be release.....WHEN ITS RELEASED. Stupid rumors.....
Allow me to be a cynic today.
[cynicism]
Rumors and opinions are like buttholes (see anus ). Everyone has one, and every one of them stink.

My question is why do people always put up asinine and utterly stupid titles to threads? Was mommy and daddy not provide enough love and the OP needs attention from the internet?
I always read these sensationalistic thread titles that have to make claims that the OP has found something the world should notice.
Here are a few you can see in some thread titles:
OMG!!! BUG!!! TODAY!! RUMOR!! RELEASED!!!!! FREE! SCAM!!! AT&T LIES!!
All capital letters in a thread title scream out "ignore this, the thread is a waste of life and time"

Sheesh. Is it that OPs are thinking:
"I have found something out and the world must know. I shall say this is a bug, even though its only happening to me and 3 other people in the entire world. I will make a thread and everyone will rejoice in this new found knowledge! Yes, they will praise me and amaze themselves in what i have found. I must use all caps in the title so they will find this thread over all the others."

Hint: Intelligent threads don't need flashing lights saying to read them.
