Jajaja... just about 97% of the computer world... just them!

Are you aware that marketshare is based upon units sold, which is extremely deceiving because Windows % includes cash-registers and work machines which turn off at 5 o'clock each night.

A more valuable number would be the breakdown of machines that people choose and go home to each night, instead of just that which is forced upon them.

You are so right.

It also echoes the 'Where do you want to go today?' slogan, which has become a Microsoft catchphrase.

Back to my Mac. :)

Strange....

Yes it will be a real e-XPedition to keep all the viruses and spyware off your windows computer.

thats the best i could think of for now :(

An adventurous journey through time and space, where the user will be surprised with lots of colorful error screens (not just blue or brown...) and hundreds of bugs to explore! You know OS X 10.4 will come LONG before Expedition.

Windows Expedition

Windows Extreame XP edition

Works quite well........you can use both, the fire will be the common name while marketing will use the secound

Windows will only be a good OS when M$ does their magic trick to it ---> (drum roll) buy another os and stamp Window on it. Like they did with every good product they sold(ie: halo)

Windows should go back and build their OS from scratch on top of MS-DOS or Linux/Unix like Apple did for OSX.

And they should ditch the XP...

Imagine how good and successful that would be? Not to mention it would destroy Apple, etc.

97% of the computer world suddenly get a Windows update OS that does not have viruses, spyware, or barely any trojans?

But Microsoft can't do that - nope... too hard for them I guess... it will happen when an Open Source OSX comes out.

I don't care what it's called just as long as it still shows flying bits of paper when I copy the contents of my hard drive to a floppy disk.

Maybe they could render a [insert M$'s name for Quartz here] icon of the actual document to fly accross the screen?

;)

maybe they could call it e-xcrement. seems like a good name to me. easily marketed too - "this is the ****". or maybe "this is ****". :)

And they can promote it by using Gwen Stefani's 'Hollaback Girl' (there's a preview on iTunes)

Expedition? Should be saved for a Web browser or related program, since that's an SUV name, viz:

Lincoln/Netscape Navigator
GMC/Apple Safari
Ford/Microsoft Explorer
Ford/KissWorks Excursion (to be fair, Excursion is a utility for Lotus Notes that lets you pick your own browser)

Well, a Windows OS is close enough.

I'll just call it "Sorry, sir, I've never used that operating system and don't care to, thank you very much; for me Windows stops at XP."
