Unless you are downtown in a major city you won't have that version of 5G. Right now the whole 5G thing is marketing to sell new phones.

Actually it’s not. Actually really soon it won’t be as each carrier expands their 5g. And that’s no reason to limit it to just one model. These phones are suppose to last a person at least a year. A lot of things can change than. Oh and I work downtown ...

When you hear about carriers talking about their 5G nationwide it's the low band 5G that they're talking about. The mmwave 5G that is supposed to give low latency and super fast downloads is very short range and doesn't go through walls very well. If you work downtown in a major city that would be helpful when you're walking down the sidewalk i guess. I know some sports stadiums have it so if you want to watch videos while you're at the game it's good. The biggest problem is it's a battery killer so this could be the reason it's only going to be on the largest iPhone. I agree that it's going to be a negative for the phones that don't have it but unless Apple can make it have all day battery life I don't see it happening. A dead battery means 0G lol

But have you seen the market of 5g phones that support both. On another note is why the Verizon version of the Fold 2 (like other Samsung 5g phones) don’t support it’s sub6 yet there are a few other phones that support both or will be once released. You can’t tell me the note 20 ultra or the fold 2 are not big enough to support both !! Lol.

Sorry I don't give much credence to rumors anymore especially when "might" is included in the headline.. When Apple officially discloses the specs of each phone, then I'll form an option using fact instead of speculation...
