Run security updates after OSLP?

Hey everyone !

I'm in the beginning stages of setting up my 5,1 to post locally. It's running Big Sur. I understand that I cannot update the OS to a newer one using the standard methods within the Mac os after using OCLP. After the user creates an Apple ID or enters their own, can they run the security updates or download apps from the app store without any issues?

Captain Obvious here.

I can just put my Apple ID in, try some apps, then remove my ID.

I just didn't think. Lol
