I agree but you can't look at it this from the perspective of Pebble having run out and begged RunKeeper to be a partner. I'd double down that RunKeeper contacted them and Pebble is being rewarded somehow. Now if they would only use some of that extra scratch to implement more user based suggestions, we'd be alright.

That's true. It's nice to hear that companies are interested in building apps for this.

I said they are listening, they may not be acting. ;)

One of the issues they addressed was how waterproof it was. In any case posting on their page would likely have more impact than posting here. ;)

Honestly I thought your suggesting of a mic and speaker was a good one. Now with a bankroll of $8M it might not be out of the question - even if it does end up in a future version.

Ha. Well put. I've been waiting for more updates to it since that waterproofing announcement but that hasn't happened. I can't actually seem to post on their kick-starter page without being a backer. Those features are deal killers for me so no way I'm plonking down $125 before knowing they're implemented! Maybe I should await version 2.0.

Pebble is so cool I donated to them!

I donated to their effort via Kickstarter!

I can't wait until they are available!

I use an armband. Strongly recommend a product called tuneband for iPhone. It's discounted on amazon I think. Best armband to date.

As someone who has issues with things (on sizing, yay huge head, yay huge feet) I want to point out Tuneband's support is AWESOME. I mentioned how the band was a little snug but okay for me, and I had a new one in the mail before I got the email of a response to my feedback.

I just wish they and Otter would make a band for the defender cases :p

I run with my iPhone 4S using a SPIbelt. It works quite well and you don't really notice it. The have a waterproof version but on days that it's really humid or rainy, I just put the iPhone in a Ziplock bag, then put it in the SPIbelt. It seems to have no problem with GPS signals even when in the pouch.

I second the vote for the SPIbelt. It works great--unless you want to be able to access your phone frequently during a run.
