Running a Game on iMac via Parallels?

If i upgraded to Lion, then purchased Parallels, then purchased Windows 7, then purchased Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (a video game for PC), would i be able to play the game? will it run smoothly? Would OS X Lion interfere with anything?
