Does anyone know of a watch app that will display a pre-loaded route on the watch, while running? I've been happily using the built in workouts app for a while now, but the only nearby safe running routes available on an upcoming trip will require me to cut down some residential streets, and loop around to get back to my hotel. I'd like to pre-load a map of the route, to keep me from missing a turn anywhere in the middle and getting lost. I'd like to find something similar to Map My Run's ability to pre-load a route (although that only works on a phone), but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Have you tried WorkOutDoors? Routes can be sent to the watch and displayed on the map. The maps themselves aren't routable, so it can't find a route for you, just display added routes which sounds like what you want anyways?

Thanks. That does sound exactly like what I'm looking for. I'll check it out.

Thanks again! It took a little bit of work to figure out how to import & then view the routes, but I think this will do exactly what I was hoping for.
