    Hi Guys,

Just received the 15'' 2010 Model Macbook Pro i bought off ebay.

Seems to be working fine, although the bootup took about 2 minutes and it needs a clean !

just wondering if there are any apps i can download to run a check on the machine, and make sure everything is running fine, such as the fans and the memory etc etc.

    Thanks !

There is no need to run any diagnostics, but iStat Pro will help you track fan speeds, memory usage, temps, etc.

yep, got istat pro running and checking. seems to be running about 60 degrees throughout.

just wanting to check if everything is running fine. i went to an apple store and they ran tests on my machine to check it. obviously they have their own servers etc, but wondered if there was anything i could do from home.

The best approach is to just use your Mac normally and troubleshoot any problem that might come up.
