OK...I already KNOW you can use BootCamp to run windows and mac osx on the same hard drive.
But heres my question: Can I run both XP and OSX from the same CPU thats NOT a Mac but is say a Dell? What I have in mind is that I leave the XP on the internal hard drive and install the Mac OS on an external hard drive. Then have two separate monitors, one for each operating system, attached to the CPU and be able to run BOTH systems at the same time and view them on the monitors. Or can the CPU only run one operating system at one time and cannot run both at the same time, so I will only have the option to boot from one of the drives at startup?
This is just a theoretical question and I am only asking because I am not too much of a tech
