Hi, i am thinking of running Windows on my Mac.

I want to use Parallels and i can get that fine.

I am wondering if i can put my windows xp cd on from my old laptop and run xp from parallels but instead of downloading windows xp for it, use my cd because my download speed is crap.

Could i do that?

I just need an answer whether i can use the disk and download parallels?

I don’t know if they did this back in windows XP, but every Vista and Win7 disk that comes with a computer is hardware locked to that specific computer.
