Heres my puzzle, looking for the answer.

Retina MacBook Pro, 250Gb partition with 10.10, 250gb with window 8

New 27 iMac (non retina) 256gb with 10.10

Thunderbolt cable

Goal: Boot Windows on the iMac by putting the MBP Retina into target disk mode.

Attempts so far:Put retina into target diskmode, go to to system prefs on the iMac, pickup the bootcamp partition as startup, it restarts to a black screen saying no bootable device found, insert disc and press any key.

Solution?

You can't.

No solution available. Windows cannot be run via TDM.
