Apps Runtastic HR?

Does the runtastic app have the ability to use the HR from the Apple Watch instead of needing a strap?

Sadly no. This is the program I've been using. If you want heart rate, you'll have to use the native watch application.

Same with Endomondo - I wonder if there is an API for developers to read and use the heart rate - so they can deliver this feature soon with the next update 🙁

Found the answer inside the Nike+ app:

"Currently, Apple doesn't allow developed to access the heart rate sensor."

Bummer....

I can't get Runtastic to track my HR even with a strap. Polar H7. I must be missing something. Using with Apple Watch. Anyone know the secret?
