He needs to go...

After the revolution, a little boy pointed to up to a framed item hanging on the wall of his grandfather's home and said, "What is that paper on the wall with the fancy writing and metal circle?" Grandfather said, "It is called a college degree. When I was your age they gave them out to anyone that can make up anything to hide their transgressions and crimes against humanity."

The young child said, "Like when I steal something and I tell mommy it wasn't my fault?" Grandfather said, "Yes, but imagine millions of people doing it to the point they all starved to death and killed each other making up more lies to cover their crimes."

The child said, "I don't want to go to college, I want to be good." Grandfather laughed and said, "That is why I fought boy, so you could be responsible and get a practical education."

 is this some story to imply that everyone BUT right wing conservatives don't work hard and expect everything handed to them? If it is, I feel for those who genuinely believe independents and democrats don't work hard. Everyone (generally) works hard in life, it's not right to pigeonhole people. Personally, I have nothing against others, I believe we need to work together, we all want the same thing, a better life and better future. My issue with Fox News is that it blatantly skews their news, and their extremists views such as misleading the nation in LGBT rights that threaten "marriage", or that illegal's are causing this country to fall apart (truth: about 4,000 births a year are by illegal immigrants, and they are not automatically US citizens, there are other laws such as the length of time spent by the parent in the US, it's a misnomer) create hatred and strife in this nation. Examine how angry people became when Obama was campaigning, posting racist signs and questioning his legal citizenship. It sickens me that 40% now are considered "birthers", something Fox News has a great deal of responsibility in hyping.

I consider myself fiscally conservative but socially liberal. I do not like Fox News for their extreme social views. They're purposely creating strife by misleading viewers through fear and utter lies, and it sickens me. I don't see Rachel Maddow or Anderson Cooper stirring the pot like Bill O'Reilly or Glenn Beck, there is so much anger on Fox News it's disturbing. That anger is what is tearing the nation apart. It's amazing that Fox News can convince others they are fighting for democracy and freedom while destroying them at the same time. Your "story" is exactly what Fox News wants you to believe, that the "other side" is "evil" and needs to be stopped, when in fact it's merely fruit from the poisonous Fox tree. Neither extreme is the answer, it's the middle ground and working together that is the answer. Yet the extreme right is fostering hatred which is diving this nation and destroying the very fabric of America that our founding fathers worked so hard and sacrificed so much to obtain.

This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen posted on this forum.
