Ruse - Short Film

I had to make a 15 minute (minimum) short film for a production class last semester. It was a group project we created a story from scratch and carried it through to the screen. In the end, I wish I could do it all over again. But every filmmaker has to start somewhere!

I can't wait to do another short film (preferably with a much, much different kind of story and maybe some actors with experience).

i enjoyed it. Really nice camera work - smooth even pans, and tracking shots. And the editing was fine too. Keep up the good work.

really good, except the ringtone used at the beginning jumped out at me. go for something more subtle, like the 24 CTU ringtone 🙂

It was shot on my GL2. The school supplied us with an XL1, but it had been so heavily abused by previous students (and had so many hours logged) that the quality was just pitiful.

Yup! I definitely prefer it over the Normal mode. Can't wait until I can afford a camera that shoots in 1080p24.
