A workaday armed robbery at a Russian hairdressers turned into a three day sex ordeal for the would-be stickup merchant, leaving him with torn genitals and a viagra hangover.

The man, only known as Viktor, attempted to turn over a hairdresser in the small town of Meshchovsk on March 14 Russia Today reports. The owner, a 28 year old called Olga, agreed to handover the day's takings while employees and customers cowered in fright.

Unfortunately for Viktor, Olga was trained in Karate. As she was handing over the cash she struck him in the chest, before taking him to the ground and trussing him up with a hairdryer cord.

Olga then locked Viktor in the shop's utility room before telling colleagues she would call the police and then dismissing them.

However, she clearly thought better of it, deciding instead to strip the robber before handcuffing him to the radiator with a pair of pink frilly lined handcuffs. She then plied him with viagra and "raped" him numerous times over the following four days.
The Register.

My first reaction was a high five Olga sort of amusement but in actuality that could have been rather awful, certainly creepy.

I was just thinking that if the genders were reversed how different our reactions may be. Rape, the other buzzkill.

I return you to the lightheartedness of this thread.

I wouldn't know - never been raped and all - but I think men cannot be raped that way*, viagra or not? His penis could only get hard because he likes it?

*yes, men can be raped anally, but that's not what happened here, right?

By that logic, women cannot be raped since women can experience orgasms during rape. They must be enjoying it... Right?

Of course men can be raped. An erection can be totally involuntary.

Viagra will cause an erection regardless of your level of arousal - that's the point. No matter what's going on psychologically, it forces the blood down there and keeps it there.

Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately in this case) viagra does not cause erections. PDE-5 inhibitors allow more blood flow to areas with said receptor, most recognizably the penis; however, that does not guarantee an erection. You need some arousal to cause activation of the parasympathetic nerves that cause erection. This is why, for example, viagra does not save failing marriages. If there is no interest on the part of the man, then there is a poor or no erection.

Now, in this case, it is very possible to cause a man to get an erection, furthermore they can also spontaneously occur (e.g. as a part of REM sleep), afterwhich viagra may work its wonders.

Moral of the story: Viagra does not cause erections.

As others have stated, that's not strictly true. I think all men can attest that sometimes that thing has a mind of its own. I think a penis can respond to stimulation whether or not the man mentally wants that or not, especially with the addition of viagra. I imagine that would be a horribly strange conflicting thing for a man to go through.

At the surface level this story is sort of funny but if you seriously consider that his claims are true, it sounds like it could be awful. No one should have to go through such an incredibly personal violation.

While that might be true, it wouldn't have happened had he not been there trying to rob the place.
