Russian page opens? SOLVED. YANDEX LOADED AS START PAGE ON INSTALL. Changed StartPage

Not sure what I did but when installing ios 26 on ipad but now when I press “+” to open a new page it shows things in Russian ! But if I enter website at top it is in English. Middle of the page is another Search like bar but it is all in Russian.
How do I get out of this?

Just noticed that it opens in Yandex.ru I type anything in the middle box on the screen. Is there a way to get rid of this? Looks like it is another browser in Russian. I was expecting Safari.

I am still a novice. So probably something simple. But any help would be appreciated.

I would clear all data on the safari app since Yandex did trigger.show Russian text (their cookie)s on my iPad last year.
my iPad sometimes auto translates or shows to Russian in Messages since my friend speaks that as sometimes photos will show Russian text as well.

Thank you. I actually finally got through to Apple Support. They spent over an hour trying to help me disable the start page. Finally they sent me up to an Engineer who took me into the settings and showed me it was a simple matter of turning Yandex off as a Start Page. I am amazed that the regular Apple Support didn’t know that. They had me send screenshots of what was happening. Still, it is now resolved after about 60 minutes total online with Apple Support.
