Well, I am definitly goin to buy a new mac book here in the next few weeks, but it seems that tiger come with 20GB's of crap that I don;t need. Can i get a custom order from mac with just the OS installed and not the ilife. But still have I life to install later.

You can always just delete iLife and its associated files, and then reinstall the apps from the supplied disks later if you decide you need them.

As for Apple providing a 'stripped-down' version of Tiger on your new Mac, I've never heard of them doing this. Sorry.

strip down yourself

when you get it, put in the restore disks and uncheck the language options and printer drivers in the custom install options, as for ilife, reinstall those as needed.

Why delete anything? Your new hard drive will come with enormous hard drive free space. Just leave those apps there until you have owned the computer for a while. Those 20 GB of files are not a problem until your free space drops below 10% of your total capacity.
