I read that there is variation from manufacturer to manufacturer on S.M.A.R.T. data. In other words, when a value in the smart data is reported as "100," that could mean something different for manufacturer A than for manufacturer B. Examples of manufacturers are Samsung, Western Digital, etc.

I have a 2017 Macbook Air.

It's a little bit unclear but I think that this
is saying that the drive that these shipped with are Sumsung.

How can I get the information applicable to my drive?
