Just got mine this morning, the sync between phone and watch was so much faster thank goodness.

Hey Siri is very quick and I very much appreciate her voice responses.

I felt exactly the same way when I updated from my S0 to Series 1. The processor bump does really make a massive difference to the overall experience with watchOS as the S0 was remarkably slow. I am super happy with my current Series 1 so I will stay with it until Series 4 ou 5 comes out.

S0 to S3 everything is lightning fast it’s remarkable. No lag to be found everywhere.

Also, PSA - Force touch on your app screen for list view, so much better than the blob.

The speed difference is the first thing I noticed. I wasn't sure about keeping the S3 because I only used my S0 for notifications, workout and weather, and those worked fine. Now, I'm definitely keeping the S3. Apps that I wanted to use, which took minutes to launch on the S0, are now loaded instantly.

I have a S0 with Link Bracelet and a SB Series 2

As much as I love the Link Bracelet, considering how slow the watch is it’s not even worth using

I was blown away when I first got my S2 in June

I have an S0 & was planning on picking up a series 3 in Nov. ( thinking there might be sales or promos), but this thread is making me want to make the jump now, lol

I also had the S0, sold it and was going to get the third iteration (S2) but resisted and made up my mind to get a S3 no matter what. Agree with everyone, the performance and experience is so much better now.

I agree with everyone here that the upgrade from the S0 to the S3 is transformative and makes for an entirely different experience. I went with the non-LTE version but now thinking I might exchange it for the cellular since the watch is much more useful. Having Siri speak is also nice.

Lag between scrolling watch faces has gone?

What about boot time and your general experience with set up?
I noticed a slight lag when trying to review the steps and miles in the activity app. I honestly thought it would be snappier but in general the watch is fast. Hopefully with a new watchOS batch the activity app can be quicker at refreshing the step counter?

I concur. Anyone on series 0 should really consider upgrading, makes using the watch much more enjoyable.

I bought a S0 the day it came out and sold it a year later because it was extremely slow. The LTE in the series 3 interested me so I picked it up and it really is night and day with how fast it is.

I definitely think the faster dual core processor will really help with faster load times, applications and less lag overall. But giving Siri a voice with audible feedback, is really nice to have without having to look at your Watch for the actual response.

So that sounds like you missed the watchOS 3 improvements.

I use my S0 for activity/workouts and messages primarily, and I’m quite happy with that but the S0 was really lagging.

Just before going down to Apple, I removed apps I don’t use, but then I actually did a clean install of OS4.

After rebooting the watch, the speed was so improved that, at least for my purposes, I decided that I’m better off waiting for the must-have improvements that come with S4. For now, my S0 may not have Talking Siri or RHR, but it’s doing what I use it for very very well again.
